About Router Prices

Router Prices is one table of home WiFi routers, sorted by price. It lists 71 routers with a current Amazon offer: WiFi 7, WiFi 6E, WiFi 6, mesh kits, modem combos, 5G and travel routers.

Where the prices come from

Prices come from Amazon through the Amazon Associates Creators API. A script checks them each day. Each price shows the time it was checked. A router with no current Amazon offer is not listed.

How the picks are made

We do not test routers by hand. Each pick on a best page wins one written rule, such as “cheapest” or “fastest”, on rated specs and the current price. The rule shows next to the pick. When prices change, the picks change.

Price per Gbps is the price divided by the router’s rated WiFi speed. It is a quick way to compare value. Rated speed is a lab number, not the speed you get at home.
